Through mindfulness we move beyond our subjective filters of reality to connect more deeply to the truth of what is.
Of course we can never know for certain if what we are connecting to is objective truth, nor can we know that an objective truth even exists, but there are many (myself including) who have reported a reduction in the degree of suffering they experience in their lives, as a result of practicing mindfulness. And personally, I find it rather convincing that many of these individuals agree upon what it is that is found when you get closer to the core of life.
And so, we can choose to have faith in the realness of the things we find that brings us these pleasant feeling. I know I do.
Through mindfulness we connect to stillness.
We connect to gratitude and love.
We connect to the infiniteness of Source.
We connect to being one with Source, and the knowing that we are therefore imbued with the ability to create.
We connect to our essence as pure love and light.
In these things one may find liberation from suffering, and empowerment to choose to discover great joy in one’s experience.
I encourage you to work on cultivating inner stillness, because who knows what you will find when the storm settles and the sun comes out.
